MADRID, SANS Z - 1986
Dans les années 80, en pleine "movida" madrilène, époque de grande effervescence culturelle, la "modernité" avait comme emblème la revue "Madriz". "Madrid, sans Z" surgit comme la contestation de dix photographes qui, n'étant pas d'accord avec les points de vue esthétiques de l'époque s'unissent et choisissent comme sujet le paysage urbain por montrer un Madrid différent qui ne s'ajuste pas au style dominant.
Mon apport à cette exposition est un parcours sentimental dans le quartier où j'ai grandi et dans les endroits de Madrid qui d'une façon ou d'une autre ont marqué mon caractère.

En los años 80, en plena "movida" madrileña, época de gran bullicio cultural, la "modernidad" tenía como emblema la revista "Madriz". "Madrid, sin Z" surge como la contestación de diez fotógrafos, que no estando de acuerdo con los planteamientos estéticos de entonces se unen y escogen como tema el paisaje urbano para enseñar un Madrid diferente, que no encaja en el estilo dominante.
Mi trabajo para esta exposición es un recorrido sentimental por el barrio en que crecí y los lugares de Madrid que de una u otra forma marcaron mi carácter.

MADRID, WITHOUT A Z - 1986
In the '80s, right in the midst of the Madrid "movida", period of great cultural ferment, the magazine "Madriz" was the emblem of "modernity". "Madrid, without a Z" arises as the disagreement of ten photographers who, not accepting the aesthetic approach of the time, unite and choose cityscape as a subjet matter to show a different Madrid that does not fit in with the dominating style.
My work for this exhibition is a sentimental tour in the district in which I grew up and through the places of Madrid that marked my character one way or other.
